Article Overview
The following article describes Subdomains and how they are used.
Article Summary
Subdomains are handy for creating a short URL for a website. Instead of a customer typing in http://www.company.com/community, you could use http://community.company.com.

When a subdomain is created Helm will create a subdirectory off of that domains root folder using the name of the subdomain. FTP accounts can be assigned specifically to these subdomains by selecting the folder for that subdomain.

To create a subdomain login to Helm and select the domain that you wish to add the subdomain to.
